BAHCECI MARBLE The ancient cities founded where the Mediterranean embraces the Taurus Mountains have hosted a number of civilisations. The ancient cities of Limyra and Arykanda have a history going back to the 5th century BC. These cities, begun by the Lycians, and reaching their peak in Hellenistic and Roman times, are built of stonework and are still standing to his day. The secret of this survival is hidden in the stone of the region. We are expending our efforts to offer the stone of the region for the service of people. This is precisely why we founded Bahceci Marble. Bahceci Marble is the leading limestone block producer in Finike/Antalya/TURKEY. We have been operating the Finike mountains to produce limestone blocks for 8 years now. The owner of the company and the president is Necmi Bahceci. At autumn 2006, Bahceci Marble restart its business with new machines, equipment and working team in Alacadag quarry of Finike, Antalya, Turkey. We have two different types of limestone both of which are homogenious: 1.First called: “miao”(wonderful, excellent in english) which is the sesamed one and 2.The second called “chunhua”(spring flower in english) which is the black dotted one. Any person or company is welcomed to visit the quarry, it’s enough to inform us before your arrival.
